Data collection or calculation

The data for Welsh speaking dentists is extracted from the Dental Performers’ list at a specific point in time.

The 2021 census data is used for the Welsh speaking dentists per 10,000 Welsh speaking people measure from 2021-22 onwards.

Statistical quality

Data is sourced from the Dental Performers' List. While the list is maintained, producing statistics from it is not the main purpose of the list and some information may not be updated routinely.
