A member of staff is defined as having joined the workforce during this time if they were contracted to work in a wider practice staff group on 30 September in one year but not contracted to work in the same staff group on 30 September of the previous year.

A member of staff is defined as having left the workforce during this time if they were contracted to work in a wider practice staff group on 30 September in one year but not contracted to work in the same staff group on 30 September of the next year.
